Take a moment and hit your pause button with an evening of self-care and slowing down.

As we enter deep winter, nature reminds us that this is a time to burrow within, regenerate and rejuvenate. But, what does that actually mean for you? The term “self-care” has become a trendy term in the wellness world so let’s redefine it for ourselves, in community.

We live in a world where our nervous systems are constantly taxed with various types of stress in our daily routines and throughout our environments. Restorative yoga is a gentle, prop-supported practice that is about intentional relaxation. By practicing rest to help reduce cortisol levels, we promote the rest and digest functions of our parasympathetic nervous system, which is essential for our overall well being.

Join Jenny for some intentional journaling to help redefine what self-care means to you, some slow flow movement and pranayama before diving into a soothing restorative practice. Rest will be amplified with a sound journey via bells, singing bowls and other instruments. We will explore a series of supported postures designed to encourage an opening of the chakras and soften your entire being into an easeful state of calm. Meditation will round out your practice and send you home with a renewed sense of what it means to take care of you, the #1 most important person you can take care of.

This workshop is for all levels and interested, curious individuals; no prior yoga experience is necessary.
