Qigong is a Chinese healing art that combines movement with breath to promote optimal flow in our nervous systems. So much in life can cause not only physical or mental strain, but energetic tension as well. Qigong helps to clear and release energetic blocks so that we can access more rhythm, ease, and balance in life. We can also use our qigong practice to lovingly and gently cultivate more capacity to hold pleasure, satisfaction, and presence. In today's session, we'll practice qigong exercises to help us connect with ourselves in these embodied ways. We'll also spend some time at the end of the session journaling, so that we can synthesize what we experienced in class with thoughtful self-reflection.
